Because of our dedication to compassionate care and client education, our staff is an integral part of your pet's health care team. These are some of our team members who may be caring for you and your pet when you visit our office. You will find that the majority of our staff have been with us for quite a while!
Whether you call the practice or visit, our client communications team will be happy to help answer your questions and facilitate your pets' health care needs. We currently have a great team of client communications specialists. Yvonne joined us in 2015 and owns a local grooming business and enjoys gardening and spending time with her family. Lydia joined our team in 2015 as well.
Veterinary Technicians are an integral part of our healthcare team. They oversee anesthesia, perform dental cleanings, and educate clients. They also work very closely with our doctors to provide outstanding care for our hospitalized patients. Our hardworking team of veterinary technicians is headed up by Colleen. She has been with the practice since 1993 and is helps with inventory and management duties. She enjoys riding dressage in her time off and hiking with her Great Danes. Lexie joined us in 2008 and has been a great addition to the team and has a strong background in equine reproduction and loves draft horses.
Our veterinary assistants are helping in patient exams, providing care for in hospital patients and keeping the clinic looking great! Bonnie has been with us forever (since 1988) and lives on a small local dairy farm. In addition to taking exceptional care of our patients, she also takes care of our beautiful flower gardens at the clinic and is an avid gardener. We welcomed Ruth to our team in 2013, she loves horses and enjoys riding in her spare time. She has a lot of animal handling experience and is great with our nervous patients. Allison joined us in 2014, she currently has a Newfoundland, a Shih Tzu, and a cat at home. In addition to working at VT/NH she also works at the Happy Hound Vermont, and loves her canine friends there as well. She already has one year of Vet Tech credit under her belt from Mount Ida College and is working to gain experience and finish her degree. Jess joined us in 2014 lives in NH with 4 fuzzy rescued critters, which includes 1 dog, Ipa, and 2 cats. She has been working in animal care since 2007, and hopes to someday become a veterinary technician.Our newest assistant Megan is a local who has worked in a variety of fields including masonry and farming. A number of our veterinary assistants have gone on to veterinary school including Katie and Renee, we wish them all the best!
Behind the scenes are two very important people keeping the business aspect of the clinic running! You may see Bobby who has joined us in September of 2016 as Practice Manager. Laura, our Financial Manager, has been with us since 2005. She works part time because when she's not here she is busy tending to the small farm she shares with her husband, where they raise Heritage Turkeys, Chickens and Guinea fowl as well as Kiko goats and Berkshire hogs. Laura also enjoys training and trail riding her Missouri Fox Trotting Horses as well as hiking and snowshoeing.
